Football Adds Three to Scholarship List
Florida Atlantic University Football Head Coach Charlie Partridge used the opening minutes of his media day press conference to publicly announce that three players had been placed on scholarship. The additions are redshirt junior Haiden Nagel, a defensive lineman; senior defensive back Anthony Hamilton and senior defensive back Alfred Ansley III.

Up NextThe Owls will practice on both Friday and Saturday. With the impending storm, times are tentative and both are closed to members of the media. The Owls are now in game week prep so the following schedule will apply: On 10 a.m. Monday, Head Coach Charlie Partridge will hold his weekly press conference in the Tom Oxley Athletic Center on FAU’s Boca Raton campus. On Tuesday, practice is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. The final 20 minutes will be open. Defensive Coordinator Roc Bellantoni as well as defensive players and coaches will be made available upon request. On Wednesday, Offensive Coordinator Travis Trickett, offensive players and offensive assistant coaches are available at the conclusion of practice and the 20 minute open period. On Thursday, Special Teams Coordinator Chris Hurdand his kickers, punters and long snappers are available. Friday practice is closed to the media. Please RSVP with Katrina McCormack so that a clearance time can be provided.
The 2016 season and home opener is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 3 versus Southern Illinois.
