The morning session was highlighted by two things. The first was a visit from the Delray Beach Boys & Girls Club. The second was a 40+ yard pass from incoming freshman DJ Juste to classmate Kalib Woods for a score. While the race to the top of the depth chart is well underway the underclassmen are pushing hard for a spots as well.
The Owls used some of the time between practices to move from preseason housing to their fall dorm rooms and then returned to the practice fields for a 6:30 p.m. workout. The evening practice saw Martese Jackson prove his merit with catches out of the backfield and long runs.
